Hi, I’m Will Monson. I’m an artist/designer living in New Orleans, LA. I’ve grown up here in the craziest and most festive city in the US.
I went to Louisiana State University for graphic design and have worked with a wide range of clients building their branding stories as well as creating marketing campaigns. Digital design is such a wonderful medium that is the ultimate collaboration between analog thinking and virtual tools. I love the sleek way linework can really make a logo stand out or the symphony of a page when copy is laid out in the right way.
On the flip side of the coin, watercolor offers the polar opposite of what I love about digital design. The way color blends seamlessly in a gentle flow always brings me joy with each new project.
Besides working on a new painting or digital layout, I produce a comedy podcast called WRYAT New Orleans Public Radio where we satire everything you love about public radio. Think Prairie Home Companion but purposefully funny.
To me, the journey of the project is one of the most rewarding. Planning, doodling, and doing is like nothing else.
